Getting to your Desired SFDC Instance
Learn how to connect Scratchpad to a different Salesforce instance.

Some companies have multiple Salesforce instances. If you are one of them and are struggling to connect Scratchpad to the correct instance, follow the simple steps below to troubleshoot.Β 

*Have you opened up Scratchpad today, and it appears as though everything has disappeared or reset? Don't worry, it hasn't - we don't do that! You are likely accidentally in a different SFDC instance.*

1. Log out of Scratchpad. (Settings > Logout)

2. Log out of all Salesforce instance(s) you're connected to.

3. Go back into Scratchpad (open a chrome tab) and you will be prompted to sign in to SFDC where you can enter the credentials for your desired SFDC instance.
