Some companies have multiple Salesforce instances. If you are one of them and are struggling to connect Scratchpad to the correct instance, follow the simple steps below to troubleshoot.
*Have you opened up Scratchpad today, and it appears as though everything has disappeared or reset? Don't worry, it hasn't - we don't do that! You are likely accidentally in a different SFDC instance.*
1. Log out of Scratchpad. (Settings > Logout)
2. Log out of all Salesforce instance(s) you're connected to.
3. Go back into Scratchpad (open a chrome tab) and you will be prompted to sign in to SFDC where you can enter the credentials for your desired SFDC instance.
