Overview

Scratchpad's Ask AI helps your team stay aligned, move faster, and take action with confidence - by turning your Salesforce data and call transcripts into real-time insights and content.

Ask anything - like uncovering key risks in a deal, clarifying stakeholder involvement, or pulling highlights from a recent call - and get answers instantly, without the busywork.

Ask AI can also accelerate your workflow by generating sales assets on demand. Draft follow-up emails, create handoff notes, build ROI summaries, or even grade calls - all in a single click.

Using Ask AI

To get started, go to any call in Scratchpad and click Ask AI in the top-right corner.

From there, you can ask questions about the current call or generate follow-up emails, summaries, handoff docs, and more - all with just a few clicks.

Creating Prompts

In addition to asking ad-hoc questions, you can create and save prompts to streamline your workflows. Prompts are reusable inputs that help you generate consistent, high-quality content with just one click.

  1. Click Ask AI from any call

  2. Click Prompts to create a new prompt or view existing ones

  3. Define your prompt and test the response for accuracy

  4. Click Save, the prompt will now be available for reuse

Please note, your most-used prompts will be pinned for easy access.

Sharing Chats

Easily share a snapshot of any AI conversation to generate a secure, read-only view - perfect for sharing insights, follow-ups, or next steps with your team.

Need to update or revoke access? Refresh the content or delete the link anytime to keep full control of what’s shared.

  1. Navigate to any thread within Ask AI

  2. Click Share in the top-right corner

  3. Click Create link

  4. Click Copy link to share it with teammates

    • The link will include a snapshot of the conversation at that moment, messages added later won’t appear

  5. Click Update link content to refresh the snapshot, or Delete shared link to revoke access at any time

Please note, viewers must be signed into Scratchpad to access the chat, and shared threads are read-only to protect context and privacy.
