Share Views with Your Team

Manager's guide to sharing Pipeline Views with teams for tracking opportunities, accounts, and deals.

Updated this week

If you're a Manager, it's important to know how well your team is doing with their deals at any given moment. But if you can't easily keep track of, filter, and inspect all of your open pipeline across multiple reps, it will be much more difficult and slow for you to coach and help them close deals.

Thankfully, Scratchpad makes it really easy to keep track of your open pipeline. You can create and share customized Pipeline Views that show all the important fields and deal information in one place. To learn more, check out Scratchpad Pipeline Views.

Sharable Pipeline Views unlocks deeper inspection and efficient manager-rep collaboration, including:

  1. Improve the effectiveness of your meetings with reps by giving everyone a clear understanding of the state of deals before the meeting. This will help you coach your reps better and close deals more quickly.

  2. Easily see which deals are stalled or missing important information like next steps, so you can help your reps prioritize their work and follow the right process.

  3. Give feedback to your reps by commenting on deals or creating tasks on individual opportunities or accounts they are working on, even if you can't meet in real-time.

Here are a few simple ways to create and share your views across your team, enabling more efficient collaboration and faster work:

Sharing the Link to a View

Step 1: In the top right corner of the Kanban or grid view, click on the tiny "person" icon.

Step 2: Click on the "copy link" button at the bottom of the dialogue box.

Step 3: Drop that link into whatever communication tool you and your team are using today! (Slack, Teams, email, etc)

Turn your View into an Organizational View

  1. In the top right corner of the Kanban or grid view, click on the tiny "person" icon.

  2. Click on the "organizational view" option in the middle of the dialogue box. **Note: If you turn your view into an organizational one, it will be available for all Scratchpad users in your organization to view and make their own. Those with access to Role Designer, can make these views role-based.

➡️ Views set as organizational will appear in the left-menu bar of your Scratchpad pipeline.

🚨 Scratchpad automatically updates your views. To make sure others can see your view, set it to "My Opportunities" under the filters menu. When you make it an org-wide view, anyone else in your organization will see their own Opportunities appear automatically.
