Two birds, one stone!

If you're an SE, you're probably working closely with clients and another member of the sales team, tag-teaming opportunities together. While on calls, how helpful would it be to have certain Salesforce fields handy as you're note-taking?

With note templates in Scratchpad, you can have a standardized set of questions for discovery calls, etc, and set up SE-specific tiles that you pop open on expanded view once you've linked your note to an opportunity. The benefit here is that while on the call, you can access important Salesforce fields at the same time - no need to wait until the call is over to get this done! Cut down the amount of time spent ensuring that your accounts and opportunities are up-to-date and alott those saved hours to other important tasks like outreach and follow-up!

To re-create this in your instance:

  • Create a note template for your discovery call (or other call type)

  • Create a new note and access your template by clicking on the blue template button

  • Link your note to an opportunity in the top-right corner of your note window

  • Expanded view will pop up automatically; select the pinned tile that you want to enter information into
