Solutions Engineers, meet Scratchpad solutions via pipeline.

If you're a Solutions Engineer/Consultant, your collaboration with the sales team to get deals across the finish line is a big priority. With pipeline views in Scratchpad created around the experience you'd have in Salesforce, you never have to miss an important change or update.

With a pipeline view in Scratchpad, filter for all opportunities owned where you are the 'Assigned SE' and remove the stages that do not concern you. This will bring to the forefront just the deals that you need to keep an eye on regularly. Take a look at one of our views below.

To configure the view above, do the following:

  • Filter a view of all your opportunities

  • Bring in the most important SE fields such as stage, close date, next step, amount, SE notes, etc

  • Create a filter where STAGE is NOT [select stages you want to omit]

  • Click the HIGHLIGHT button to create spotlighting for empty fields in the 'next step' and/or 'se notes'
