How to Collaborate on Deals With Commenting

Sales managers, AEs, and BDRs can use commenting to collaborate on leads, contacts, and opportunities.

Updated over a week ago

Collaboration across you sales team isn’t easy. Most sales teams use a combination of Slack, Email, Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and Salesforce Chatter, to collaborate on how to create stage 1 opps or move from stage 2 to stage 3. Knowing where to look and share information on your deals with your team is really hard and often time consuming and confusing. Imagine if all communication related to your team’s opportunities happened in one place with all the context on the deal at your fingertips so you don’t have to dig and search for the last communication or notes.

Now that image is reality!

  1. As a manager, you could comment on opportunities missing next steps or with expired close dates, letting the reps know they need to take action.

  2. As a a rep, you could comment and tag your VP of Sales on opportunities that need top-to-top support with a decision maker.

  3. As a BDR, you could share learnings from prospect accounts with your sales reps.

With Scratchpad Commenting, you can collaborate with your team on any record from anywhere on the web. You can post comments with updates, asks or needs, and tag your team members to involve them. Sales Leaders and Reps can make collaboration a part of their workflows and never miss a comment about an opportunity that needs immediate attention.

**Comments created in Scratchpad will log to SFDC Chatter. Chatter created in SFDC will not reflect in Scratchpad Comments.
