Learn about the different access Types, and how Admins can manage Member Type and Role in Scratchpad

Access Types


Admin

Along with access to the workspace, admins can manage workspace settings, and their teammates’ access levels. Admins can:

  • Update members’ access type

  • Edit workspace settings

  • Access Role Designer

  • Access Cards*

Note: only Subscription Owners can manage seats. Learn more here.

Member

Members can access the workspace but not edit workspace settings. Members will be able to:

  • Access the full workspace (Pipeline, Notes, Tasks, Call Intelligence)

  • Access Automations they have created*

*Only available on certain paid plans

Manage Member Type


The first user from any organization will automatically be assigned as Admin.

  1. Navigate to the Gear Icon in the bottom-left corner of your Scratchpad homepage

  2. Select Members under Workspace

  3. Find your Member of choice and select the desired Type

Manage Member Role


Designating Roles in Scratchpad will allow you to customize your organization's workspace for each role using Role Designer. Learn more here!

  1. Navigate to the Gear Icon in the bottom-left corner of your Scratchpad homepage

  2. Select Members under Workspace

  3. Find your Member of choice and select the desired Role
