Why Isn't My Salesforce Update Showing Up in Scratchpad?

Learn how to get recent Salesforce updates, like new fields or configuration changes, to populate in Scratchpad

Updated over 3 months ago

Have you made recent updates, like adding or removing fields, to your SFDC back-end? Below are the two ways that will allow you to see these updates in Scratchpad!

Automatic Refresh

When opening a new Scratchpad tab or refreshing your Scratchpad screen, our system will check if your Salesforce cache is more than 2 hours old. If it is, your cache will automatically refresh and any updates made in SFDC will be visible in Scratchpad

Manual Refresh

If you’re an Admin in Scratchpad, you have the ability to refresh your Salesforce cache directly from Settings. Please note, this refresh applies only to your instance, not the entire team.

  1. Navigate to the Gear Icon in the bottom-left corner of your Scratchpad homepage

  2. Select Integrations under Account

  3. Under Salesforce, click Refresh next to Configuration data

  4. Once the refresh is complete, your screen will automatically reload and your changes will appear

For non-Admin users, please reach out via Wish on your Scratchpad homepage or email us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist with a refresh!
