Many of you love Scratchpad for our rich feature set, but we’ve also heard your feedback — make Scratchpad simpler, and faster for the basics. Well we have great news!
Views will now be in a single sidebar instead of tabs based on Salesforce objects (Opportunity, Account, Contact, etc.). By moving to a single sidebar, your Views are now easy to access, more organized, and reduce clicks so you can work faster.
What to expect in the new Scratchpad Views experience
All Views will be accessible from your sidebar
You can store different types of Views (e.g. Opportunity, Account, Contact) in the same folder
When creating a new View, you can build from any Salesforce object including custom objects
We’ll preserve any folders you set up so they remain accessible

Tools to organize your sidebar
You might find your sidebar busy at first. That’s ok! it means you’re a power user of Scratchpad. To help you tidy up your sidebar, we’ve built a feature that helps move your unused Views (those not used in over 60 days) into an "Archive" folder. You can retrieve them later if you choose, but this optimization will help you get organized quickly.
