Inspecting deals within Salesforce reports is traditionally a time consuming process. You are constantly opening new tabs in order to access more data and make updates. With Scratchpad Command you can bring any data point to the report without having to open a new tab. You can also close the feedback loop with your reps by assigning follow-up tasks and taking manager notes.

To Conduct Deal Inspection:

  1. Ensure you are using the Chrome Extension AND have enabled Command.

  2. Open up the Salesforce report that you want to inspect.

  3. Click the Scratchpad logo that appears in the record cell when hovering over a record name.

The Expanded view of the opportunity will pop up. From there, you can quickly access record data from any of the tiles that have been configured for/by you. You will have access to commenting, notes, and tasks.

**Note: Shared notes, tasks, and history are available on paid licenses.
